Three-hole Tie Rod Bracket
Our three-hole tie rod brackets are the strongest way to connect our tie rod assemblies to your rafters. Spreading the tension over three holes and 6" of material reduces the point-load on one bolt-hole. Through-bolting is recommending over lag screws for the strongest possible connection. For each tie rod assembly you will need two tie rod brackets.
Like all of our tie rod brackets, these brackets are made from 1/4" steel plate. (Grip plates are made from 3/8" plate for 1" rods.) The side mounting straps are sized so bolt holes are centered on the rafter.
