Tie Rod Brackets

Architectural tie rods (also known as tension rods), connect to wooden rafters or truss top chords via steel brackets that are bolted or lag-screwed into the wood. Lighter duty brackets have fewer bolting points whereas heavier-duty brackets are bolted in more places to grab onto more of the beam. In general, for every tie rod assembly you will need two tie rod brackets, one for each end.

Note: All of our tie rod brackets are designed to fit with our architectural tie rod assemblies. In other words, the tie rod assemblies you buy from us will only each the total span you enter if they are paired with two of our tie rod brackets.
